But WOW. I'm much more surprised cutting 5 DTs (Brooks Howard McDonald Cherrington Silaga) while all the while trading for a different new one (Smith) from the Jags.

2nd verse same as the first... McGrath, Helfet AND Fells... are we now in the trade market for an extra TE too??

Yeah McGrath was a surprise. Thought he'd made the team for sure with a few really good plays in the preseason. Could definitely see him on the practice squad. With Miller's injury history, it's hard to believe we'd roll with just two tight ends.

I really liked McGrath. That was a bad cut. I seriously don't understand carrying only 2 TE's with the injury problems we've had at the position. Plus, McGrath was REALLY good in the preseason. I just don't get this.

Am I missing something with McGrath? I thought he was a very mediocre player catching and blocking, I saw nothing that made me think he could be even as good as McCoy who this board hated. Only thing suprising about the McGrath cut is we didn't claim another teams tight end
