Seahawks to sign Blessuan Austin, CB

I don’t see why they’re not bringing in a guy like Desmond Trufant. Local guy. Has had some injury issues the past couple years, but when healthy can play. Surely he’d be an improvement over some of our guys.

because he has fallen off dramatically. he is a giant liability. Flowers is an actual upgrade over trufant at this point in Desmond's career.

The answer is interior pass rush so QB's won't be able to step up onto the pocket. We have the DE's. Need one more solid pass rushing DT.

Hope it's not indicative of a major issue the 'Hawks and/or medical treatment can't fix, because he looks very capable. From the highlight reel, he seems to have pretty good ball awareness and times his hits, breakups, and disruptions well.

They are bringing everyone and anyone that is a CB in to see if they are better than what we have now. I think if they had faith in the right side CB they wouldn’t be doing this much work.

Unless they are planning some crazy hybrid dime package with 6 CB’s. Lol

Awesome, I was hoping we would pick him up after he was cut, didn't make sense the Jets cut him imo so I'm glad John saw him out there and he def could be a starter for us.

Edit, I forgot they added S. Jones too lol, both def add some depth there and I wouldn't be surprised if one has to play significant snaps this season either by injury or just looking a lot better than the starter ahead of them.

My knowledge of Austin is limited, but from what I've seen, he and Adams could complement each other quite well on plays when both are on the field, based on the way they play and their ball awareness.

The Jets have a new coaching staff, Robert Saleh is now HC, so maybe he wasn't a fit moving forward.
