Seahawks showing interest in Terrion Arnold

Well, I mean one person can be more credible than the other.

And I believe that someone who has more access than we do, has more information than we do.

Which is why I feel about the situation like I do.

Regardless, whether Terrion ends up a Seahawk in the end or not, I will root for the player and what he can do for us.

Doesn't mean I have to like the person.

Fair enough.

Don’t take me incorrectly however, my comments here are strictly related to “media credentials” and how they may or may not equate to credibility.

It might be that Terrion Arnold is innocent of the charges, and that the case will be dismissed. He wouldn't be the first innocent person to have been charged with a crime.

When I was a King County Deputy Prosecutor I once took over a trial from a colleague on short notice and got a conviction, only to learn the next day that the defendant was the wrong person. It was harder to get the conviction overturned than to obtain it, but the defendant did not spend a day in jail on my account.

I trust JS on this one. Let's see how things play out in the courts, and if his charges are dismissed, we may wind up with a very talented corner without giving up any draft capital.

I think they need a veteran db for a season until Bud Clarke figures it out and Julian Neal gets healthy. Watching the fan fest on saturday the corners got burned quite a bit. (Its early I get it Yada yada but id like the insurance and we have a lot of draft capital). What veteran is a different question. If arnold does get suspend I can see a mid season trade for Humphrey.

I know one thing, there are a few organizations that have been targeting Pro Athletes for theft, I also find it somewhat weird that he would send a group in with two females to recover it and beat up people and then the two females agree to testify against him to lower their sentence where the rest have not. If I know there is a confrontation that could happen, I don't send females, also one of the groups was supposedly a friend of some sort. Would not be the first time a thought of friend used that to attempt to exploit it.

Well since this is the Terrion Arnold thread,



Normally, I would put this in my video thread but I feel this is relevant here.

- Talks about how while there is interest in him, he couldn't help but wonder if there is some recruiting going on as well; Arnold left after the 2nd meeting and went to visit the Saints.

- Then he says basically, to make a long story short : In MacDonald and Schneider we trust. They wouldn't bring someone in if they didn't feel like there is a good chance he might resolve the off-the-field issues.

- He also played video of MacDonald in his presser talking about Arnold.

- He then moved onto practice and said that Sam Darnold and himself have similar taste in music (ie Stone Temple Pilots, etc.)

- Excited to see Julian Neal back on the field.

- He only did warm-ups so he's guessing he's being eased back in.

- Sherm was there.

- From what he saw from Practice, Defense mostly won the day.

- Sam Darnold was better than he was on Fanfest day; made some terrific throws.

- JSN was beating everybody again and again and again

- Deep left pass on the sideline to JSN from Darnold was the Offensive play of the day; Spoon was guarding JSN.

- Brian believes JSN's ability to beat defenders over the top isn't appreciated enough.


There were Defensive highlights as well.

- Patrick O'Connell made a leaping grab of a Drew Lock pass in the endzone.

- Jalen Milroe had a pass to Elijah Arroyo picked off by D'Anthony Bell who ran it back for a Pick-Six.

- Bud Clark sighting during a red-zone drill where he breaks up a pass to AJ Barner from Sam Darnold over the middle.

- Defense was all over the Running Game as they did a great job at limiting many rushing attempts whether it was from Velus Jones, Emmanuel Wilson, etc.

- Ricky White had an okay day where he caught some passes but dropped a few that were right on the money (OOF!).

- Cody White had a nice day, though. Milroe connected with him on a crossing pass for a big gain with Andre Fuller in coverage.

- Brock Lampe talked about where he looked good at blitz pickup.


- Brian mentions there were 1v1 Pass Rush drills.

- Byron Murphy vs. Anthony Bradford was one of them.

- And Bradford won BOTH reps.

- Brian says this has happened often in camp.

(dare I say we get AB's all-time best this season?)


- Jalen Sundell vs. Jared Ivy

Sundell put Ivy on the ground.


- Rylie Mills vs. Gray Zabel

Rep 1 : Rylie just swim-move'd past Zabel
Rep 2 : Zabel had him on lock-down.


- Josh Jones vs Uchenna Nwosu

2 good reps for Josh.

Did not see Charles Cross out there (uh oh...maybe it's just a Vet rest day?).


- Logan Brown vs Jaylen Gaines

Logan continues to have a great camp as he handled Gaines.


- Uso Seumalo vs. Christian Haynes

Haynes won both reps. (I don't know whether to be amazed or underwhelmed)


- Deven Eastern vs. Olu

Deven had a good first rep against Olu in the first rep but Olu comes back in the 2nd and locks him up

At a low cost, with more incentives than guarantees to lower the risk, signing him would be a great addition. Character/judgement issues aside, he seems like a solid player. A good coach and program can set people straight, and I think Seattle has that type of culture in spades.
