it was confirmed on X by Jordan Schultz too
Yeah, I'm good with anything in return. He was likely to be cut anyway so any return is welcomeMight net us a 6th round pick swap.
True, it also indicates they will may target a pick as depth in the Draft. His cap is $7.7M, so I hope he finds a partner! Not a bad player, but he's not going to see the field with Love holding it down.
We do still have K'von Wallace and Jerrick Reed. It very well could mean depth in the draft but we do still have solid backups on the cheap.True, it also indicates they will may target a pick as depth in the Draft.
Also if Seattle is looking to draft more safeties for whatever reason, Jenkins, is more so a cut candidate cause I can’t imagine a team looking to trade for his services…His cap is $7.7M, so I hope he finds a partner! Not a bad player, but he's not going to see the field with Love holding it down.
IIRC they are pretty high on Reed. Maybe they think they'll move him up this year. Jenkins is almost superfluous and if we can get something in return, that's better than just releasing him.We do still have K'von Wallace and Jerrick Reed. True, but it's worth a shot. Some safety strapped team might like to bring in a vet rather than take their chances in the draft. Nothing much lost if there are not takers, other than some cap money.I wouldn't hold my breath. Other teams know Jenkins is likely to be released anyway, so why would they give up anything for him?
