Learning to stay healthier is the pressing prerequisite for Byron's career development.

Maxwell, 25, said he has taken preventive measures such as using a foam roller on aching muscles before practice to prevent lactic acids from gathering, which can cause stiffness and longer recovery times.Maxwell also uses ice tub treatment before practice and massages afterward to avoid nagging injuries that kept him out of practice in previous seasons.

I love it when players understand their mortality and start getting smart about the game and how to take care of themselves. It's a reason why I respect Tony Gonzalez so much. The guy knows what it takes for himself to stay at peak condition. Kudos to Maxwell for starting to "get it" I am a fan of him.

Take it to the shack. I'd like to continue to be able to have this forum up at work.

I'm probably missing something, but wouldn't having this forum up at work be worse than having a curse word on the screen?

If not for the depth at corner, this would be his breakout year.

The guy is a baller and when his contract expires, he will likely be a starter for Gus Bradley unless the Seahawks feel he has advanced to the point of inserting him in the starting lineup.

He will get plenty of action this year and other teams will have scouted him well. He will not remain hidden.
