Two of John Schneiders achievements that Pete Carroll would die for:
  1. President of Football Operations, I googled, and Pete was the VP of Football Operations. The president was a title Pete never enjoyed.
  2. The love and support from Jody Allen, this smile, Pete never enjoyed. Here with matching shirts:

When your boss likes you, the job becomes easier and more fun. Jody loves her some JS, JS loves him some Darnold, Lock and Milroe. One big Seahawks family ready to take the Lombardi Trophy!!!!

Go Hawks.

Why would Pete want the respect of the fake owner? I’m sure Paul (RIP) had plenty of respect of for Pete

Pete was a Paul hire so you maybe right! But that in the past, gone.

We are in the Schneider era, he is the face of the franchise. Godfather of our Schneider line!

Go hawks.

I would say we’re closer to winning the Stanley cup but headed in the right direction.

Was a great interview. The language he used to describe Darnold and Milroe made it obvious he sees Darnold as a stopgap and Milroe as the future.

Was a great interview. The language he used to describe Darnold and Milroe made it obvious he sees Darnold as a stopgap and Milroe as the future.

Was it obvious, though?

He mentioned how he talked to other coaches that told him of Sam's continued ascension of improvement as a QB.

Didn't sound like he was implying "oh yes. We signed Darnold to a 3-year deal with an out-clause after the 1st since we view him as nothing more than a StopGap while Milroe develops" or something.

He talked about bringing in Kubiak to help Darnold by running a system he's familiar with and everything.

That doesn't sound like someone who views Sam as a StopGap.

Drew Lock would be a StopGap.

Now don't get me wrong.

Milroe IS the Future but I think JS wants Darnold to succeed 'cause if he does, the future won't be here for awhile (ie Milroe remains as backup; becomes a valuable trade piece down the road; etc).

It's going to be a very interesting 2025 season.
