Looking at the schedule, I like the big break until the Monday night game with the Rams and the roll out of P Harvin. The next four after that before the bye all look winnable, with a revenge game at the Falcons who are a shell of themselves. Then the bye and two big big huge games Saints and Niners. IMO, we have to have our OL back and healthy by the end of the bye week for the final push into the playoffs and the two games coming out of the bye are the most important of the year.

Our next 4 opponents have 5 wins amongst them....

Rams 3-3
Buc's 0-5
Falcons 1-4
Vikings 1-4

In no means am I overlooking any of these teams, But I'm just saying these are very winnable games and it's a "possibility" that the Hawks could go 10-1...

Hawks are 11-1 with remaining games @STL, @ATL, @SF, and @NYG. If we go 2-2 to close out, I like our chances to get the #1 seed.

I am waiting to see how we respond to long breaks between games at the Rams. For so many years including with Pete it seems we are flat after those times.

Our record after our break also is pitiful as I recall. Lets hope we also are going to kill that type of play. Pete's way of practice seems to be helping those early road games & leaving earlier. Lets hope it continues the rest of our season.

We were also a horrible road team before this year as well... I think they shake that poor play after the break this year too, and I think the players and coaches will be up for this game the Rams gave us a very tough game in each of the two from last year... this team can't be overlooked.

None of them are easy, especially the Rams and Atlanta, but it's definitely the soft spot in our schedule. There's only two obvious playoff teams left on our schedule, Niners and Saints. We're also undefeated in both division and conference play and we get the only team with as good a record as ours in our house, and our last two divisional games are at home.

The stars are lining up for HFA. This is our chance, guys.

Agree. I see both of these as very difficult, even at home (NO). But... I think we should not overlook the Rams. At the beginning of the season I really thought these guys under Jeff Fisher would come alive. Hasn't happened yet, but a flat start against them on a national game might turn ugly.

PI Forum was a sinking ship the last few years. The only saving grace was the Cowpuke troll leaving.

Yep. PI used to be the forum I mostly frequented. Now I just lurk from time to time.
