The only thing I’m not a fan of is playing the Rams in week 16 and 18. Too close together for me. I understand some like it, I just don’t.
This. It smells like the month we just spend playing rams only football this last season - and I HATED that.

Things I love:

SOS. Tough games at home easier games on the road.

Low travel miles. 9th in the league with 22,056 miles. 10 year average? Game adjusted 29,482. Average rank? 2nd in the league. So a huge win here. Plus the rams have to go to Australia but that'll be way in the rearview come Xmas.

Bye week is PERFECT.

Only 2 10am games in the season!

Things I hate:

******* Rams twice late in the season is gonna suck. Hating that from last season - but they want the drama. Don't like this one bit - it's like deja vu all over again.

Prime time games. Always have hated them. Continue to hate them. Wish there were zero. I love how the graphic on seahawks.com for the schedule has the text "This city lives for SUNDAY" and then rip 1/2 the season away on primetime games.

Meh: the xmas game. Other than hating that it's against the rams, don't mind it.

And after 49 - **** the pats. Raise that banner and then club them like a baby seal!

I'm in the "hate playing LA twice in three weeks" club. Beyond the practical football part of it, part of the fun with division rivals is the trash talking between the fans of the teams. I'd rather see the Hawks trash the Rams halfway through the season and half the second half of the season to build the hype of the rematch. Seems like that would be to the NFL's benefit too.

I like everything you've posted minus the Pats on opening day. IMO, I think it will be in poor taste for the League to schedule that game. All it will do is put Drake in a blender in back to back games, embarrass an entire franchise and fanbase on national television (again) and not to mention rub the Pats' proverbial noses in it when we hoist the banner. I'm all about celebration and talking a little smack, but that's leaning into it a bit.

I think a far better game would be the Rams in a championship game rematch. Hell, we're the 2 best teams in the league. And letting them baste in us raising the banner is far more satisfying that making New England do it, they've already suffered the indignation of getting their sh*t kicked in for 60 minutes in the Bowl.
Unofficial punishment against Vrabel
