I missed the first half of the game, but other than the penalty he got in the 2nd half, he seemed to be holding his own other rather well.

For those who saw the whole game, how did he do in the 1st half?

I tried to key on him from time to time and he did okay. Effort was there. One false start penalty. I don’t feel he was a problem. Hopefully, he grows and runs away with the job.

Nice block on Charbs TD.
As for the holding call,I didn't see any holding by him on the replay. I may have missed it though

He was caught with his arm around the D-linemen when he spun around. Happens, especially to rooks.

yeah, if that was the one where they called 2 holding calls one on Lucas, the other on him - I saw him on the replay and it was definitely not holding. I didn't see Lucas on the replay because I was focusing on him.

There was another play they showed on the replay where it looked like the center and right guard were both supposed to pull left and Olu didn't and Laumea ran right into him. It was a clusterfuck.

Overall, I think we have an upgrade at RG as a first impression.

For consistency he was better than any guard we've had this year. One costly penalty kept him from having a banner day all things considered. He actually made a hole for K9 to run through late in the game. That sealed the deal for me.
Same here!
