Absolutely not. We hired Durde knowing he would need some seasoning. It sets a horrible precedent to fire him after two poor games where he was missing many of his best pieces. It would be an excellent way to make sure nobody on the coaching staff is comfortable at their job having to constantly look over their shoulder, and motivating them to move on in the offseason.

Hands off!

In all seriousness, he has said he is just going to take it easy this season and pursue options this offseason. Not sure he would really be a fit in Seattle with macdonald? He is more out of the Carroll defensive tree

It would be worth bringing him in as a consultant for the remainder of the season, not DC. He could add some fresh perspective without any authority. He could also add a lot of NFCW insight that the current staff lacks. He'll want a DC or possibly HC job next year. Heck, pay him for today and tomorrow to prep for Thursday....

Durde is still in seasoning process,

as MM is the defensive coordinator making the calls.

If some or most of the bad D performance on MM?

Almost every time a big named coach or player comes available, the question always arises as to whether or not the Seahawks should pick them up. It’s almost like AI is running this site and posts the question in a new thread the second that person becomes available.

i think not, doubt he and Mac could coexist.

Besies it sure can’t be said he was all that brilliant as the HC of the Jets. The later may just be a location where there is a sinkhole of suckitude.

No thanks!

On another front is Devin White worth bringing in for a look?
