The one glaring issue of great consternation to us fans for more than a decade: the OL and lack of QB protection. What a difference today! Once perpetually bottom-10 year after year, it's now top-10. And look at the results: a 6-2 record:

I saw that from Dan yesterday and almost made that my 1 biggest surprise so far in that other thread about that.

Our Pass Rush too, dayum. It would suck to play QB against our defense.

Yeah and if the market is dry on guards and JS gets a good rusher to add to the squad, look out NFL.

One of my concerns about Sam Darnold was that he took 48 sacks last year with an offensive line that was better than the Seahawks' line. Either that line was actually worse, or Sam has gotten better. I think he's gotten better because his average release time last year was poor.

Whatever the reasons, this is an amazing turn of events for both Darnold and the Seahawks' O-line.

He's learning. He's improving. All QBs are going to make mistakes, but he bounces back quickly from the few he has made.

I think people gloss over that Sam is only 28. He was 21 when he started in the league. He’s still growing and learning.
