RW > Luck

As long as we have RW we have a shot. Without him we are a middle-of-the-road team with a really good linebacking corp.

I think it's funny how Cam Newton gets criticized and bashed by media pundits, fans for taking too many hits. But in truth, Luck has also shown to be reckless with taking contact. He damn near embraces it.

Yea he's a seemingly good guy, and good QB. But I've seen him take hits while diving head first, not sliding in time. I just think it's irritating that he doesn't get criticized for basically not protecting himself. Yea he had a bad O-line, so have other QBs

Grigson is a good friend of my brother. They both played OL for Purdue in the early 1990s. My brother is two years younger but they both had the fortune of blocking for Mike Alstott. Ryan and my brother still keep in touch.
Also, Cousins is a local boy from my former home town. I saw Cousins play HS football against my nephew a couple times.

The crap I hear the Colts didn't give Luck an OL..Bullshit!
He had a much better line than the Hawks ever had.One
thing that gets missed is that for a couple seasons the line
was snakebit by the injury bug..Go ahead and look at some
of their guys who made All-Pro..Some were the same guys
who protected Manning.
He doesn't want to play because he fears pain and that's
fine ..He never was going to be anything like Peyton and
those shoes were too big for him to fill.

Between 2012-2016 Luck was sacked, pressured and hit more times than any other QB, including Russell.

Just cause Grigson kept drafting O-linemen doesn't mean he wasn't terrible at doing it, and it certainly contributed to Luck getting pounded every week.

He fears pain? Lol, c'mon man. Luck and NFL players put their body through things 99% of us would never endure, shortening their life span and dealing with chronic issues for their rest of their lives.

Like Sherman said yesterday, no one's asking for you to feel sorry for them, but for everyone to be jumping all over Luck is insane. No one would be all over a roofer, mechanic or construction worker with a broken body wanting to quit......but for some reason because it's the NFL, everyone thinks they can pass judgement.

Lame comparison. Football is a spectator sport in the entertainment industry.

Show me a spectator sport roofer making million$$ and I'll show you an Allstate commercial.

That poor horse......he's been dead for a long long time. But hey, I'm sure when Russ is in the HOF, people will still be saying he's only there because of the D and running game.

No line of work gives fans the right to be terrible human beings. This isn't 80 AD in the Roman Colosseum, we're supposed to have evolved as a species to not treat athletes like dollar signs and pieces of meat.

I get it, the crowed was shocked, as we would be. But I'd hope we wouldn't be booing Russell as he walked off the field.

And only fools think Wilson was not a huge part of Lynch's success and opened up the running game himself by being the dual threat and moving the sticks with his legs when needed.

See, this is why Sac is a legend. And funny, IMO.

He throws a piece of raw meat into the cage, and watches in silence as the wolves pounce and rip it to shreds, and each other in the process.

Amazing, Sac, how you took a thread from the NFL Forum, wrote RW's name into it, and served it here raw. LOL!

It is certainly classless. But they bought the ticket, and are entitled to their knee jerk reactions also. Also it was a minority as well. We saw similar classlessness here when they threw popcorn onto Bowman as being carted off the field. Shit happens in the heat of battle.

Of course they're entitled, doesn't excuse the behavior.............especially for one of the nicest guys to ever play the game, a model citizen and played his ass off for their team.

Well I don't "excuse it' either. I still say it is classless. My point is this isn't as out of the ordinary as some make it to be. There will be at least 1 classless dick (likely more) in every 100 in the crowd anywhere you decide to go on this planet.

I used to throw shade at Luck but since his injuries have been more public, I felt bad for him. The Colts gave him absolutely no line most of his career. Andrew Luck is a stand up guy and the NFL was better with him. Goes to show a team without a good front office can absolutely ruin a franchise QB’s career. Godspeed, Andrew. I hope you are able to fully heal from all your injuries.

I don't blame the Colts..Luck is wired differently than most.

Why the hell are so many people straight up psycho about this? There are literally multiple memes about the joke that this is.

It's creepy.

I seriously don't say this about a lot of things, but I honestly find the psychology of it to be kind of creepy.

If it's any consolation to the creeps and will spare me grief for finding it so creepy, to state the obvious, I too believe RW > Luck, but so what? Luck was a great QB whose career was derailed by injuries. What that has to do with Russell Wilson (or Aaron Rodgers, or Dan Marino, or Fran Tarkenton for that matter), I have no idea.
