I hope this leads into him calling plays on the field, where the play call from the OC is merely a suggestion.

Word is he called the "Statue of Liberty" play for all his calls and then Geno just audibled to some plays he knew while he was with the Jets.

The other poster makes a good point, if this is something that helps him change the play once in awhile, I'm down with that. Not that he doesn't once in awhile, but he could do it even more imo.

It’s good that schotty was confident and playful enough to let Russ officially played OC on the sideline. They were displaying trust and good relationship, unless hahaha Russ bullied Schotty into it which I doubt very much.
