It was. I don't think it would have gotten past this forum if it was not. Since it was a penalty the irritation of the hit was transferred to whether the ref should have taken Russ out of the game. All that goes out the window if the flag isn't thrown.
The NFL should be fining the Referees, and their own lame asses, for allowing assholes like that to STAY in the game after a dirty play like that.hawknation2017":15cahpyx said:Crown of the helmet to the face. The NFL is telling defenders that they can go high and lead with their helmets if they are willing to exchange a 15-yard penalty for knocking the QB out for at least several plays while he is forced to go through the concussion protocol.
