$12K, the value of the gift, divided by $35M, RW's salary, =.000343. If you take a person earning $75k per year and times that amount by .000343, you come up with $25.73, or about the price of a couple of craft beers at the Clink.
And that doesn't even take into account the amount of money RW earns for endorsements and other income beyond his football salary.
Looking at that graphic wakes up a person to the income gap between highly paid professional athletes and their fans.
