Eh, you only read into what you wanted to. Number of carries, YPG, those things are the “facts” that I referred to.

We have a RB room that until Charbs comes back has lost its 2 primary contributors from last year. Fact.

We have drafted a guy that looks like he could be very good but we don’t know how he will really translate to the NFL. We signed a lower tier free agent (who might be very good). We have Holani. Facts.

I don’t think anyone, including me, can say how this will play out. Just a level of RB uncertainty that is beyond “normal”. No freaking out, just acknowledging the situation is a big question mark.

Marshawn Lynch does not have exclusive rights to the term "Beast".

Actually, with him it was more "Beast-Mode" than just "Beast" so I don't get why Price couldn't be described as such if he IS good.

People were called beasts on the field well before Marshawn. And Marshawn is possibly my favorite all time Seahawk.

Talk about reading into nothing. People have been saying "dude is a beast" for decades. Not just in football.

I would never call him beast MODE. But this team is full of dudes who are beasts. FFS, who gives a crap what someone calls a player?

I called Michael Jordan a beast well before Marshawn was even playing in the NFL. Shoot, I used to call Ken Griffey Jr. a beast.

Meh, it is what it is. If he balls out, I'll call him a beast as often as I like. There will never be another Beast MODE. Nor should anyone expect there to be one.

Like others have said, it's a shame he couldn't stay healthy. He looked good every time he got a chance. Would have loved to see more. I still feel good enough about our RB depth though, so not losing any sleep.

Alluding to the OP it sucks that Kenny didn't work out. I feel like he's a class act but the man has lived on the PUP list practically his entire career. As for Price is already getting work with the first unit so I like our depth. I already touched on the addition of Emanuel Wilson who Packer fans ranted and raved about so I absolutely love our depth. Charbonnet is on the PuP list and will be back no later than early October. Holani is decent and then with Jacardia Wright you can't go wrong.

Yeah, I think Wilson is such a sneaky good pickup for the RB room. He went for 502 (4.9 avg) in 2024 and 496 (4.0 avg) in 2025. That compares with Charbonnet at 462 (4.3 avg) in 2023 and 569 (4.2 avg) in 2024. Wilson finds right into the tandem back role.

Regarding Charbonnet - The reason I say this is because the surgery was Feb 20 even though the injury was Jan 17. Even at 9 months which would be the most optimistic timeline that would put him at week 9 in November

I think this is primarily going to be a Price/Wilson backfield, with Holani mixing in. Per this thread, it's very easy to crap on that prospect right now, but I'm really excited to see this particular duo behind our run blocking. Per your point, I don't think Charbonnet is going to be back into the rotation until midseason.

Yeah I think the Seahawks will be fine. Multiple times rookie RBs have had success in the NFL in their 1st year
