NFL.com has already removed their link to the talk of Flynn's trade being "imminent". Looks like reporters are just as bad as guys on MB's who race to post a BREAKING NEWS thread without verification from credible sources.

If you check the OP, you'll notice the tweet was from Ed Werder of ESPN, not NFL.com, if you'd like to call into question him or his sources as reliable, have at it

Personally I was NEVER on the Flynn train. When he was signed I was bummed out because I thought we would have to suffer more years without a franchise QB. Then the 3rd game of the preseason put me over the edge.....seeing him pout further confirmed my thoughts/feelings about the guy. Glad to see we can get some value from him.

I was just thinking the same thing. Way to support the team and teammates.

Hopefully this trade will work out for us but now we have no backup and if it's for less than a third were not getting equal value.

How quickly some of you forget the coin toss call in Chicago THAT CHANGED THE COURSE OF THE ENTIRE SEASON!

Seriously though, wish him the best if the deal goes through. He looked very invested during the comeback in Atlanta and protected the team in the media (rule #1) through the entire year.

I have nothing but a tip of the hat to Flynn. I think he went on an emotional rollercoaster. Nobody really thought Wilson would succeed to the degree that he did here. Flynn was banking on a starting job only to end up #2. I think he handled himself well.

Whether he stays here or goes elsewhere, I wish him all the best and will personally root for him in games I seem him compete in (as long as it isn't against us).

We're getting better value tha we will any other team. Flynn has zero long term value to this team.

Pout? I feel like he has handled the entire situation very well considering the circumstances...
No, not when you consider how often and how his remarks aimed at disparaging anyone elses intentions to showing any kind of support for bringing Flynn to Seattle, and honestly?, it was/is getting tiresome listening to someone put down the Value that Schneider has for Flynn.
I feel safe in saying that if it came down to picking sides on A debate between he and JS, take a guess at how many here would jump on the Tsizzle wagon :16:

Even so you don't give away quality players if Wilson stays healthy no worries if not things could get ugly.

Flynn looked pouty a few times, but he never did or said anything as far as I can recall. Can't really hold anything against him. Seemed like the guys liked him well enough.

Exactly. A few times where he didn't look happy, who cares? As long as he's not causing problems in the locker room or making any negative public statements about it, and I've seen neither. Some people just want to hate him, I think.

I'd love to see him go to some non-NFC West team and lead them to the playoffs every year. I think he's got what it takes to be a good QB. (I didn't say great.)

It was quite upsetting watching Flynn on the sidelines after he was beat out of the starting spot. A less "pouty" teammate would have been walking around zapping his mates with one of those buzzer rings and secreting whoopee cushions on the bench. I don't recall seeing him making any of those twisty balloon sculptures, either. Not a once. The guy was clearly a bad teammate and worse....a bad egg.

SWEET - now we can do this again on Monday!

I predict one Flynn ALMOST traded thread, one Flynn JUST ABOUT to be traded thread and one Flynn TRADED thread that when you click on it has speculations about Flynn being traded.........

Apparently people don't know how the human psyche works. Flynn comes to a new team expecting to finally get the chance to start after sitting behind the best QB in the league, and runs straight into a legend in the making in his rookie year. Now he is supposed to just sit on the bench like a good little guy while the time he has left to start in this league slowly ticks away. Give me a break
