Minshew is the has got to be the number one candidate right now. He is playing like a veteran right now, and putting up veteran numbers while doing it. If he continues on this trajectory I don't think anyone has a chance at beating him. He also has become a bit of a folk legend around the NFL. No rookie QB is playing like he is right now either. Jones, and Murray look like slobs compared to Minshew at the moment.

If we discount Minshew, or perhaps he falters down the line DK might have an opportunity if he gets more attempts. He is number 3 in yardage at the moment, and he has the highest yards/average by quite a bit. I think he is trailing the number one WR, his teammate by 60 some odd yards and a touchdown. DK Metcalf has definitely been one of the most impressive rookie wideouts.

It's funny Aikman has no chance of making the HOF today with his stats. He never had a season with over 25 TD's passing, and only 1 season with 20 or more TD's in a season (his high was 23). But he was alot more than his stats. He was a winner. But he also SUCKED in rookie year, by any measure. Had a 52 comp% 9 TD's vs 18 picks.

Kyler Murray is definitely being outplayed at this point in time by Gardner Minshew.

Chew on this: RG3 had 23 TDs, only 4 Ints, and a 102 passer rating and led a terrible Redskins team into the playoffs in his rookie year on route to winning ROY. He's lucky to be the Ravens backup now.

Hmmm, must be submitting his resume.

But take all the Rookie QB's and rank them then look at WR's, that where you start, for a DE to get it he has to have a season looking like Bosa did against the Browns every game plus.

From there you may as well forget it unless you have a RB getting like 1500 yards.
