Marshawn had over a 1000 yards rushing his first two years, 1299 total yards his first year with 7 TDs and 1336 total yards with 9 TDs his second. There was a dropoff the next two years, then his in first four complete years with Seattle he averaged greater than 1200 yards rushing until his last year. If you call that troubles, well, I really don't know what to say.
Rawls came on like gang busters once he got going last year, and was well on his way to matching or exceeding Lynch's stats. I'm certainly not trying dis Marshawn, like any youngster getting their wheels wet in the Pros, he took a few hand offs to get going.
Marshawn as good/great as his was/is, had good games and bad games. he was either on fire and going to kick ass and take names all night long, or in some games he couldn't get out of his own way, tripping, falling, fumbling the ball. I think that we have a great core of talented Running Backs right now and that anyone of them could break out and give us our running game back.
I think that Rawls is on the cusp but hasn't quite made that turn yet. Pope came in with a busted up ankle and tried to muscle through it but it caught up with him. If he is going to succeed in the NFL he is going to have to figure out how to strengthen and protect his ankles because they seem to keep betraying him.
Prosise is maybe the best prospect of the 4, Alex included, but his ability to stay healthy may be a problem. If you can play a full season your value drops dramatically.
