Nice read. He could very well be our defensive MVP this Sunday.

Look at the GIFs! I knew that Wagner was a tackling machine with a nose for the ball, but I never realized how much patience and ability to recognize where to be to disrupt running lanes he had. And these plays were from last year!

Those gifs are Luke Kuechly like tackles, which Wagner can and does do, but what separates Wagner is his ability to plug a gap like a DL with said long arms and brute strength. That in a MLB is really unheard of for a guy who can run with WRs and DBs down the field. Those two traits just don't come together.

That's like 4x the player.

yeah but nobody outside of Seattle thinks that
Quite the contrary. Wagner's production percentage has been well documented by multiple sources. Furthermore, Wagner is a scheme diverse player. Could play all the LB positions because of his play at the POA and in coverage.

Keuchly would not do well in Seattle where he'd have to take on OL in the A gap, but Wagner could play in the Panther's scheme where the MLB is more protected. It's a no brainer.

I forgot this :sarcasm off

And what you said is basically what I tried to explain the Panthers trolls.

Wagner has been awesome for us. "By Seattle’s second game, Wagner was making all the defensive calls when he was on the field". Wow. Shades of Lofa Tatupu!

Kuechly is a damn good player. No need to take anything away from him. He would look great in a Seahawks uni. Panthers snatched him up before we could. Props to them.
I was under the impression Pete & John would take Kuechly if he was available, but it's a moot point.

Pete might NOT have taken Kuechly because he's just a little slow for what Pete likes in his linebackers. Hell, Bobby Wagner is just a eighth-step slow for Pete's liking, but the dude makes plays. Irvin, Lotulelei (and the now-Giants Allen Bradford) are actually football-speed tiny bit faster, physically, than Wagner, but Wagner just makes such good reads so quickly that he is football-speed greased lightning for a linebacker.

Irvin is right there with Wagner speed wise in a legitimate 4.4 category. Lotulelei is not. Not sure where you're getting this from.

I think you need to educate yourself before posting. This is completely wrong.
