Okay for those looking to attend the Unofficial Official NET Bash in N'Orleans, I am trying to find reasonable R/T airfare and right now it's ridiculous...Average price is over $800 per person (we're trying to book 3 adults) and that's before hotel, expenses, etc... So some kind of group thing would be awesome...So if anyone has thoughts or connections this is the place to chat about it...I'll keep my eyes peeled as well.

Todd, seriously, check on flying into Houston and renting a little car. It may be tons cheaper. The drive ain't bad.

Be sure to check both airports. In your case it wouldn't matter one bit.

Having a car would also give you more options to shop for cheaper rooms.

The Rams just moved to LA, I will be going to the Ram's game every year!

I just checked tix, and sites like Stub Hub don't even have any..............the sites I did find tix on are going for $500-$700 a piece in the 3rd level nose bleeds.

Me thinks we may have to wait a couple years when the honeymoon's over and LA Rams fans go back to their apathetic ways.

Well I'm officially out for the Unofficial Official NET Bash in New Orleans.

My wife just told me why it is so freakin' expensive that weekend. It's Halloween weekend! Friends of wife that go down there all the time and have family there said you do NOT want to go there during Halloween...It's worse than Mardi Gras...Crowds are way worse, hotels will all be $400/per night MINIMUM and we see already how much airfare is. That blows. Thanks a lot NFL for scheduling the game on Halloween freakin' weekend!

So I'm going to revisit the schedule and see what would be my next choice for an away game this year. Open to suggestions!

I just checked the Friday to Tuesday flights to Houston and back to Boise, and it is more expensive than the flight I got to N.O. and back. Wierd. Going to give more thought to this trip. Motel 6 north of N.O. on Gentilly is still only 54 per night.

Just wait until tickets are actually released. These prices may come down a lot.

I think so too. I can't imagine a stadium that holds 80k will sustain that high of ticket prices, even for the first game of the year.

Just booked my room at The Old No.77 Hotel and Chandlery. About a mile from the stadium. Lots to do there! Just for giggles I checked the room prices a couple weeks prior to the game, and they were $200 cheaper. Gouging man...same for the airline tickets. Oh well, price of being a fan I guess.

I booked my hotel and flight out of Fresno; 2 people 5 days $2450 total with Expedia.com. Tickets on the other hand...
