We've had our disagreements to put it mildly, but I haven't seen him around and I miss the guy.

@Chawker Check in if you're doin' alright, bud.

UPDATE: Got curious about Chawker since it's draft season and did some digging since he was always quite active. Unfortunately, I found an obituary that matches city, name, and exact birthday.

It appears Chawker passed away in November.

Rest in peace.

Hope Chawker is doing OK. Also, I've been meaning to ask about LymonHawk (Brian) and also OkieHawk, who hasn't posted since 2019, if I have that correctly. LymonHawk does not show up on "Members" search.

Lymon's alright. He got banned after some shenanigans but he's still kicking.

Damn Mael, good point. It seems like it's been a awhile since we saw Chawker.

Had a lot of good conversations with Chawker. The list of really impressionable .net deaths is growing too high. Stick around my guys.

RIP.

Chawker and I argued a lot. We were legitimately quite annoyed by each other when it came to football opinions.

He was so damn jovial, though. Loved being a fan and talking about it. He was super human.

I regret being a dick to him and not returning the same humanity. I wish I could tell him that directly.

I dunno. Food for thought. Be nicer. I wish I was.

Hmm some interesting stuff in this thread.....

Chawker was a good dude and positive thoughts to his family.

Always weird when someone passes on. Even just acquaintances. The void they leave kind of warps the mind a bit.

Finality is a...difficult, yet, necessary aspect of life to accept. It's why parents and/or loved ones who, say, have had a child get kidnapped have such a drastically hard time moving forward in life compared to someone who "just" had their kid/loved one die in the hospital....

you know what? This is NOT an emotion I'm even in the mood for right now. Or ever.
