Maye was having a PTSD flashback (2:13)I still cant figure out what the hell Maye was thinking. I mean i get we were bringing pressure and confusing him, but why he chose to just stand there and seemingly wait for the sacks to come is beyond me. Very seldom did he try to break the pocket with any urgency - until the end of the game. Its like he went into full meltdown mode at seeing a real NFL defense for the first time. He was in WWWAAAAYYYYYYYY over his head.
Hope this moment makes him better and hasnt broken him. He seems like a solid kid.
Good trade.BTW everyone needs to thank the Vikings For Mill too.
"The Seahawks added to their defensive line in the fifth-round of the 2025 NFL Draft, selecting Notre Dame defensive end Rylie Mills with the 142nd overall pick.
The Seahawks selected Mills with a pick they acquired in a trade that sent quarterback Sam Howell to Minnesota."

i think when mills came at him.. it was a moment of awe mix with a "you maybe wondering how i ended up here" dialogueI still cant figure out what the hell Maye was thinking. That was the most impressive play of the game IMO. I had to do a double take, kinda like the line in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid for anyone that is old enough to remember that flick:I just watched this again and busted up laughing my ass off.
He literally bull rushed the O lineman on his ass to sack Maye. Do we have another monster D lineman on our hands? It’s a beautiful thing to see
“Think you use nuff dynamite there Butch?”That was the most impressive play of the game IMO. I had to do a double take, kinda like the line in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid for anyone that is old enough to remember that flick:
"Who was that guy?"
Yeah, Butch and Sundance is my ATF western. They don't make movies like that anymore.“Think you use nuff dynamite there Butch?”
Love PN & RR - BTW With the Winter Olympic s here - I finally saw “Downhill Racer = an early Redford movie (came out right before B&S) with some really good skiing footage. The US Ski coach was an early turn by Gene Hackman - a really good and fun flick.
Oh, that bull rush sack was total bad ass!
He's a big ol' HOSS.He’s a big summamabiyotch

They confirmed today that he did not accrue a year and the seahawks activated at the right time to avoid it. So he really is with 4 years left. He's like an extra high draft pick in this years draft in a sense. Can't wait to see what he can do.
I was loving the pick and was wanting him to play this season,He's a big ol' HOSS.
