I miss that ref, he was great!

Especially since he got the call correct. Can't have possession in the air, which was clearly what had happened when GB's player attempted the interception. Tate got both hands on it and pulled it to his chest while GB's man was still trying to get his other foot down. Any other ref would have botched the call and it would've been game over.

Best ref ever.

I swear on my grandma's grave that even if that precise call had gone to another team in the NFL that day I would still feel that very same way you do. Whatever you do, you don't want to confuse the rest of the world with the facts. They've already made up their mind considering it the worst call ever.

Indeed. Thankfully, we're going to be kicking other teams up and down the field so hard there won't be any room for controversy this season. It's much harder for opposing fans to complain about a botched call when we're up by three touchdowns in the fourth quarter. :D

Let's not beat the dead horse of whether it was the right or wrong call. Hilarious and awesome of Sherman to do this.

Awsome. Favorite ref ever. I wish he did every Hawks game ever, or at least any game Mike Carey is scheduled to do.

Thats cool. I feel for the guy. He was getting death threats after that call. The guy said he loves to officiate and has done so for years at the lower levels. Shermans shtick was annoying me for awhile but this kind of stuff is changing how I feel.

Richard Sherman,

Your attention-grabbing behavior is shameful. My non-Seahawk-fan-coworkers are using this opportunity to mercilessly mock me, and my sense of self-worth is rapidly declining. Please begin acting like a 40-year old stuffed shirt, and if you cannot then please stay in your room until the season starts. If you want to grow up I can see if I can get you into one of my company's business etiquette classes. If you are interested please send me a written request at 123 Primrose Drive, Seattle, WA 98888.

Thank you,
A humiliated fan

My question is, what does Richard Sherman's behavior have to do with being a Seahawk fan? There is a history to this team and 52 other exceptional players on the team. Do they mock the #1 Defense also? What about the 50 point games? Or Russell Wilson's (and Richard Sherman's) dedication to those who are ill or in need? Do any of them do anything at all comparable to what Richard Sherman does when it comes to those with health issues? Do they put on "Charity baseball games?"

Most importantly, your business etiquette classes have obviously failed miserably if your coworkers are mocking you and you are feeling humiliated. Maybe you should take a "thick skin" class :th2thumbs:

Of course maybe you just forgot the sarcasm flags. If that's the case, I shall mock you for your failure to do so! :p
