Just took in a bunch of recaps, highlights, write-ups, and stats this morning, and am pretty blown away. The 2025 Seahawks aren't 100% perfect, but they are having one of the very best seasons of their franchise existence. Especially the first-half Seahawks. I think our upcoming games against the Rams will be reminiscent of the epic battles we used to have against the 49ers in 2012-2014.

This game absolutely feels epic. I suspect with Coach Mike, these games are almost always going to be great battles.
McNugget is a good coach, but you know what? So is Coach Mike.
The chess match back and forth will be fun to watch. Hawks have won 10 in a row on the road; that's not a coincidence.
I won't be shocked if they lose but also won't be shocked if they win.

I haven't had a lot of time to be on, but I have been seeing a ton of people hating on Soulfish. I think he is like most of us, we were being optomists after we got rid of Geno and its like you all are mad because what is happening is what we said would lol. Go pout in your corners and let the rest of us enjoy this!

Also, yes next game is going to be a blood bath. Hope no one gets injured on either team and its a great game! Only the 4th I've been able to watch this year haha

I probably bring some of it on. I am who am, some like it, some don't. Ain't no thang. It's just a message board, a spot to talk football.
If I see people complaining about wins, I'm gonna' say something about it.

I have the exact same thoughts, makes zero sense in my brain! That first half, arguably the first quarter was complete and utter domination. First game I've been able to watch with my 3 boys. My 9 year old asked me if they have a mercy rule hahaha. But yes, this next game will tell us what we need to know and I am DAMN excited for it!

The offense is definitely something else, I don't remember it being this good since maybe Russ's rookie year? Where they had that span of a few games where they were just absolutely destroying teams (Cards 58-0) (Buffalo 50-17) (49ers 42-13), the thing is though this team seems to be scoring all the points in the first half and then takes a nap in the second half, whatever works? lol

Some interesting stats on Hawks blitzing this season, gathered by a poster at RamsFansUnited.

Overall, shows that your team is adjusting for who they play, which it didn't seem like Pete used to do so much.

There was a question about how much Hawks blitz:

it depends on who the QB they play against.

From what I've seen, the Vet QB, they blitz a lot less,
the ones they know who can beat the D on the blitz.
Pitt/Rodgers 2/blitz, TB/Mayfield 3/blitz,

The most:
AZ/Brissett 11/blitz, Hou/Stroud 18/Blitz

Everyone else: between 5 to 9 blitzes

So, I would expect them to only blitz MS only 2 to 3 times,
and play the coverage.
Hopefully they blitz more and MS would kill them off the blitz.

As for our D,
Last year when we played Minny/Darnold during the playoffs,
we blitz him 7x with 11/pressure, 9/sacks,
making him have 10 bad throws.
40/att, 25/rec, 62.5%/comp 245yds, 1/TD, 1/INT

This game feels like that 9ers vs Ravens 2023 Christmas Day game. A lot of people were saying The Ravens were gonna met their match. They went down there and absolutely kick the shit out of that 9ers team and made a statement.

The main reason we don't blitz a lot is that we've gotten a lot of pressure from our front four. We'll see how we adjust in the game.

Hopefully, I yearn for these types of games, My wife goes to her friends home when the Seahawks play the Whiners, Lambs, and Turd Birds because she knows how I jump around good, or bad. 🤣

There will never be a “battle” until the refs step the **** off or call shit both ways. A couple things happened the refs did or didn’t call that def assisted the Rams early.
