What do you think about it?

Seems like we struggle in it and if we were better at it, this offense could be so much more.
Think they need to take this next 2 weeks working on it.

1st and goal at the one yesterday should have been a run play. Not sure why we got cute there and took a sack.
Agree completely but let’s at least give kubiak credit in that the play technically worked, just Sam got spooked and didn’t rip it to Zach for a probable TD.

I’m really curious why we wouldn’t run the Barnyard. Absolute Worst case you imagine it driving forward for half a yard, and from the half yard line it would be really difficult to stop Sam on 3 straight sneaks after that.

I lost my mind. Made NO sense when they were running it down their throats. And it's not just a Kubiak thing. These OC are obsessed with cute. Run it. They were NOT going to stop it if they ran it 3 times. Then again, Charbs was wide open.

I would say that if this team has a weakness, it is the red zone offense. It's well known that the red zone is the hardest part of the field for an offense, because the D doesn't have to guard nearly as much real estate. It seems to be the last part of an offense to 'gel'. I think it'll improve next year as Kubiak has an offseason to work things around his specific players a bit more and they get develop more timing and chemistry together. We definitely have the players to do the job, just need to get over the hump on this issue.

I think Redzone offense struggles mostly due to Sundall and Bradford not able to get a good push. O line has to fire off and get into the defense so the RB can just hit it, Cross and Zabel do that but thats a longer distance to run on a quick hit power play.

This. They were doing ok when Sundell was out and Oluwatimi was in there. I just don't believe Sundell has the strength to be an anchor. He's fine for zone concepts in between the 20s but for power run scheme, he's not a fit. Bradford is the one that is disappointing. He makes some good plays with power but is inconsistent. He has the strength but doesn't use it often.

He's been pushing people well in the run game for 5-6 weeks straight. The Bradford hate is overblown.

Sam said he missed Zack on that play

He implied that he hesitated and then realized his hesitation cost him the oppty so he had to move off of him (and that's when he got sacked).

Have to say that I prefer that outcome than him just throwing it LATE to Charbs there and it getting possibly picked off for six.
