I'm not sure I bother making any moves this trade deadline. Don't think we are good enough compared to last year, just keep the prospects we have and develop them.
Except our most promising prospects have no room to grow into. They're behind some pretty good players in our current roster and we'll need to move some vets to make room anyway. Our best prospects are pitchers and infielders. We already have 6 starters and a pretty full infield now. Some kind of trade might be required this year.

Nope, it’s the analytics
It's what Scott and Dan have had to follow, what Dan is though is a yes man
for doing it, it sucks but they would just get somebody else if he didn't.
I'm done defending, you guys can blame all you want, I'm not going to
partake in it, if anything it's on the players, just like any other sport, they
have to perform.

So, you're ok with pulling a starter who is flat out in a zone, and has a low pitch count? All to bring in Castillo and see him get lit up?
You're ok with Pukesnyder going out there over and over again when you have better choices? He's batting .139
Conner Joe in the outfield over Robles???? What??????
It is DAN who keeps running him out there. HE chooses the lineup. HE chooses to pull a starter who is locked in, under 70 pitches.
DAN is the one who makes these choices. It's not about blame. It's about reality. I'm more shocked that anyone could actually not just acknowledge how bad he has been. I get that there has been a ton of injuries. My issue will always be his ridiculous decisions with lineups and with pitchers.

Anyway, it is what it is. Go M's

Depends on our bull pen situation. Id rather Castillo moves there than the piggyback stuff. If Hancock keeps fading after his strong start then that is also another candidate.

Was meaning more the non pitchers though. It's hard to tell with no one able to stay healthy. Refsnyder needs to be dfa'd or at bare minimum be put on the IL. It's unfair to everyone. Give Pereda more at bits and DH Cal for now till he figures out this slump.
