We had to get a LG. We have that now. I wouldn't be mad if we went OL again but my guess is they want to give Haynes and Bradford a chance to make a leap this year. Its very common for lineman to need some development. In fact that's the norm.Smart teams know when to cut the cord before bad players hurt them further. I'm not saying to cut Haynes, but depending on him at this point would be foolish. Make sure we're good at the position and if something clicks, it's a bonus. He was beyond abysmal last year though.
People have completely flipped on how important coaching is to OL play and are buying way too much into Grubb being a convenient scapegoat. Drafting Zabel in the first should be a sign that the problems go beyond who the coordinator was.
According to Grey, he wouldn't wish that on his enemies.Go pick up rocks on the farm
They must be rocks with spikes on them or something.....According to Grey, he wouldn't wish that on his enemies.
Exactly, people wanted Will Fries and he took 3 years to show any kind of semblance or an Offensive Lineman. He is no outlier either. They won't give up on Haynes, Olu, Laumea, Jerrell, probably not even on Bradford yet. They probably can't keep them all though. We had to get a LG. We have that now. While Schnied is gm trading up will only ever be a fan's fantasy.1. Trade up for Shadeur.
2. Wyatt Milum: Zabel is a good guard. That means we have one good guard. Milum is an incredibly undervalued prospect that I believe will be an absolute home run pick for someone. Let's let it be us.
He has traded up five times on Day 2.While Schnied is gm trading up will only ever be a fan's fantasy.
