"Can we try something other than Mike Tomlin?"

I know, I know: the grass isn't always greener on the other side. But I would still be ready to try move on if I were them and it seems like many are.
Tomlin feels like what Pete was here. They’re almost guaranteed 8-10 wins but it just got super stale. A fresh start for both is probably a good idea

Tomlin just hasn't had a good enough QB since mid-to-late Roethlisberger to be a SB contender. It sucks when you don't have the guy. If he should decide to move on, he shouldn't take a job with a team without a franchise QB.

No Hall of Fame for Russ, obviously, but a solid late-career resurgence. He's done as anything more than an occasional spot starter. Can't beat Father Time. Geno soon to see the same fate.

I'm not a Russ fan, but it sure wasn't him losing this game. His stat line was pretty damn good. Glad they're one and done though.

Yeah he played alright all things considered. I’ll still never understand wasting so much energy hating the dude.

It will be interesting. His ten year peak is easily HOF worthy and much better than many already in. His end of career ride was just so weird. Still think he gets in.

He'll be a HoF, maybe not first ballot, but he'll get in. His numbers are better than half the QB's in the Hall.

Meh he’s doing some stuff? Some of his throws have been vintage Russ. I just think Russ is old and he gets no help. This team just isn’t very good and like I said earlier Pickens is the only decent skill player with an above average grade on the roster. Their line is as bad as Seattles. Geno would be trash on this team too.

But damn both of these games are so boring. I expected a Ravens blow out but was surprised by the early game
You called the Texans game boring???? That was so fun.

RW peak was not his super bowl years.

His peak was when the legion of boom was done and he had to deal with JS inability to field an oline for the 5 years after

Half the QB's in the hall did it in 8, 10, 12,14 game seasons. Numbers do not really matter it's about his play and how he approached the game. Numbers are a great byline for the players career, But Jim Thorpe would have a hard time matching anyone's numbers today. Era's games played is different, But would you say Thorpe doesn't deserve to be there?

Russ will be in the HoF. Not first ballot of course but yes. He makes it in. So many fans suffer from recency bias it’s ridiculous.

Looking at all the active qbs right now I can actually see this happening, and also fairly soon. After Rodgers retires there should be a fairly large gap before another quarterback retires that would be considered a hall of fame candidate (Allen (28), Mahomes (28), and Jackson (27)). I actually was thinking he wasn't going to make it until I looked into it.

Anybody who is on the fence about Russ making it to Canton should look up all the records he broke in the 10 years with us. Oh, and by the way, he has a ring.

Sorry for the Russ haters but he will be wearing a gold jacket within 15 years from now.
