To be fair, it would have been pretty close. That said, even if Seattle did need one more play, it still would have been smarter to slide. In that scenario, Seattle could have ran down the clock to 25 seconds or so before kicking a chipshot FG to make it a two score game, and that's if they don't pick up the first down.
The TD was a very cool moment, and I liked that Lynch gave the ball to Giacomini afterwards. I just hope that if that situation happens in the Super Bowl, Lynch will know that sliding is the championship play.
