Advantage Rams cuz Mahomes plays like Wilson and we all know the Rams W/L history with Seattle the past 4 to 5 years. The Rams just have to look at tape and go, Geez the Chiefs defense sucks, reminds us of Seahawks defense when they play us.

I don't think it will be, I don't think the Rams will beat the 9er's. McVay has yet to beat the 9er's for what ever reason he just can't figure that team out and I see no reason that is going to change. If the Rams do go I would rather them play the Chiefs I think they match up better against them than the Bengals.

This matchup might make me skip watching this year.

I prefer a Bengals vs 9ers SB with the Bengals winning it all.

It's a far fetched dream I know.
But it's all I have at this point.

I mean I hope that's not what happens as a Niner fan...

...but some symmetry to it considering the 49ers beat them in their only 2 SB appearances.

I'm going with Rams-Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Indeed, I've picked that matchup since the start of the playoffs.

Despite the fact that the Niners seem to have the Rams number lately, I'm picking the Rams to beat them for a couple of reasons: Despite the Niners having played some outstanding defense over the past couple of weeks and despite the Rams near meltdown in the 2nd half yesterday, I still like the Rams' D better. Aaron Donald is as close to being unblockable as any player I've ever seen. If the Niners had problems protecting their QB vs. the Packers, I can't imagine them having better success against what the Rams will throw at them.

The other reason is Jimmy Garoppolo. In his two playoff games, he's thrown 0 TD passes and 2 interceptions, both hugely bonehead mistakes in the red zone. Despite some very good weapons, like George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, he's averaged just 132 yards passing against defenses a lot worse than the Cowboys and Packers. Compare his performance with Mathew Stafford's: 4 TD's, 0 INT's, 284 yard average in their 2 playoff games.

Rams 24, Niners 13.

If I've learned anything from this past weekend's games, it's not to he surprised at all if the Bengals and/or Niners advance. Forget the point spread, it's hard enough just getting the damn winner.

Jimmy G definitely has his bone head moments but look at the drops in the GB game, hit Kittle, Deebo and Aiyuk right in the hands, all drops. Go back over his career with 9ers, lots of drops by recivers. Jimmy needs to learn when to throw it away to avoid sacks instead of trying to force it into bad situations.

9ers O-line has done well against Rams D, won even though Trent Williams was out.

I like the 9ers chances.

Niners are hurting after that GB game. Those hits were extra painful in that weather. I don't think they will be nearly as rested and recovered as the Rams

And the Niners may have to do without Wiliams again. He left the Packers game on crutches. Deebo was dinged up, too.

The Rams were well on their way to a blowout win against Tampa Bay, but they had some very uncharacteristic mistakes. They fumbled on the one yard line, Cooper Kupp, who had more touches than any receiver in the league this season and hadn't fumbled all year yet he coughed it up yesterday. And then there was that snap that Stafford wasn't expecting when they were in at least FG position.

I just see the Rams as being the hotter team.

Rams look good unless they're playing the 9ers, like 9ers are in NFCC but looked like crap against the Hawks.

Historically Pacific and Mountain time teams are chopped liver the week after back-to-back Eastern time road games. The vast majority of the time the next game after such a road trip is a home game against an average opponent. This 49ers team is only the 3rd Pacific or Mountain time team to win back-to-back playoff road games on the East Coast. Congrats on that achievement. The 49ers are hurting and they will be travelling to a venue with what will likely be a neutral or slightly advantageous crowd against a very strong team. The previous 2 teams that achieved what the 49ers have done lost in the Championship game. I really like the Rams chances.

The Niners didn't play on the east coast. Green Bay and Dallas are both in the Central Time Zone.

Don't mean to be a stickler here and spoil a great story...

...but the 49ers BEAT Cincy this year. Dec 12th.

oh....so that proves Cincy would roll?

uh, no.

No idea what would actually happen but I'm not the one stating someone would EASILY roll.
