Anyone recall that Jacksonville beat the Bills this year and that's why the playoff game was in Arrowhead instead of in Buffalo? Strange but true. For having the worst record in the league, the Jaguars sure impacted the playoffs, including knocking Indy out of the playoffs in week 18.

Niners are hurting after that GB game. Those hits were extra painful in that weather. I don't think they will be nearly as rested and recovered as the Rams
At least they’ll have a ready made excuse when they lose.

We can always trot out the "too hard to beat the same team 3 times in one season" thing.

They don't need excuses, already achieved way more than anyone expected this season.

Win or lose the went further than people said they would.

They have ointments for your butthurt you know.

I actually believe in that phenomenon, at least to some degree.

The Rams beat us three times in ‘04. Twice at home. It can be done.

Teams have played each other three times in a single season 22 times in the Super Bowl Era. 14 times, it was a three game sweep.

...having said that...I can't imagine the Rams lose this game. The pride alone should will them to a win. NFC Championship. More Niner fans in the stands than Rams fans. A chance to host both an NFC Championship game and a Super Bowl in your own building.

I mean could you just imagine what it would do to your ego to have a division rival come into your house, beat you a third time, deny you a chance at the Super Bowl...and worse...should they win, WIN the Super Bowl in your building when you had TWO chances to end their season?

I mean there would be Levis South jokes FOREVER.

I just can't see the Rams letting that happen.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but...I'm starting to notice a trend with "superbowl home field advantage"...happened last year with the Buccs, and now "there's a chance" it could happen in LA with the Rams. I mean, we all saw how much the Buccs was pushed last year, and we're all seeing how much the Rams are being pushed this year, right?
