The garbage we put out on the field last Sunday, that quote is an insult to the Browns.

Maybe ... but who will look good loosing 5 All Pro starters ... I would love to see the Rams/Vikings or Eagles loosing 5 players on the same side of the ball .. i really think we don't have the same conversation out here ..

#GO Hawks
How did we look fresh in our first game against the Packers?

How about our second game where we barely beat the 9ers?

That was because of offensive ineffiency, and even then there were some bad calls our way, particularly in the Packers game

If we didn't have as many injuries, we'd have at least 2 additional wins. And there's no bonafide threat in the NFC at the moment. So yes, even if we blew those games, that's nitpicking imo. We would win at least 2 games with a healthy defense and even more with a decent kicker. That's how small the margin is in the NFL

So let's do this. How many players were missing in our first meeting with the Rams, compared to our 2nd? I'm not really counting Wagner being back because he played hurt and was pulled early.

Just off the top of my head.
Wagner---hurt/pulled early
Kam---out
Sherman---out
Wright---out
Jones---out

You think that might be the factor in why Gurley had 152 yards when we held him to 43 the first time? If our D is healthy next year, we get Carson back, and draft a true #1 WR...we are better than ever. In my opinion.

lmao. Better than ever? That’s pretty disrespectful 2013s team. 2018s D alone won’t be anywhere close to 2013.

Do we need a definition of what opinion means? I'm not jumping on the sky is falling BS. I think if we make a change at OC and get healthy on D we are primed to make a run next year. Again, just my opinion.

I could agree with that but would add that cable needs to go as well. The fact that we have spent a lot of money and draft picks at this point and still have only minor progress shows that he is not good at evaluating talent, at developing that talent, at coaching the players up to maximizing strengths or at being able to recognize when something isnt working and adapt. Basically, he is completely not good at every phase of his job. Needs to go yesterday.

Considering the massive amount of injuries we are dealing with we have been forced into playing a lot of guys who aren’t really good enough to play for the browns or any other team in the league.

Yep, the defense played like a team that was missing almost half their starters. That same depleted defense failed to put the offense in great field position like they did the first game, resulting in 9 fewer points than the 1st meeting. If you truly don't see injuries as the biggest factor in our diminishing defense, then what else was the difference in the two meetings?

It was way less the defense putting the offense in bad field position than the offense and special teams putting the defense in bad field positions.

Fair enough. But, the offense only scored 9 less than the first meeting. The defense however gave up 37 more? It's clear to me that the injuries on defense have played a huge part.

Thats the point, the D isnt even the same even when they are healthy. And i seriously doubt they can stay healthy a full season. Kam 100% wont if he comes back. Sherman might regress after his achilles and hes been getting banged up they past few years also.

They cant keep paying these guys that much money if they arent going to be dominant while the offense looks like dog crap. Thats why alot of them need to be let go to invest in the offense and draft younger talent. LOB era is over.

Did you see deshaun watson put up 38 on the healthy defense? Did you see the titans run all over the healthy defense also?

They arent as good anymore.

Okay, did you see the defense (when it was healthier) hold the Rams and the Eagles to 10 points?

Rams has as many playoff wins as Cleveland Browns since 2004 so how about they just shut up over there?
THIS^^^^^!!!!!
Saying stupid shit like that is equal to ADMITTING that they sucked ass by getting beat by the SOFT Brown-Hawks in THEIR HOUSE in the first meeting this Season.

When you deliver an epic ass whipping like the Rams did last week then you are entitled to say what you like. If the 'Hawks don't like it, then maybe they should show some heart next time.

Just wait until LA signs Gurley and Donald to monster deals and they can't retain anyone else. Will be a good time.

The whiners said the same thing about us. Difference is we kept signing pretty much everyone except Irvin and Tate and they went nutz over at the nut house.

Trust me this isn't over. This is the equivalent of the Japanese bombing Pear Harbor.

I wish this Seahawks team was as good as the USA was in WW2....
