Yeah they are good but there is a reason they are scrambling for a playoff birth isn't there. I think it's becasue teams scored more points then they did. The excuse of Crabtree not being there doesn't cover it either.

Agree but the Rams are not on that level yet. Their offense is too sporadic to overcome a gamefull of crap officiating. Their biggest offensive weapon is a rookie that has great games and will disappear in others. Hawks being down 10 at halftime is no big deal, Rams being down 10 at halftime on the road against a good defense is a substantial mountain to climb.

The Rams halftime adjustments better be epic if they are to win this game.

....and they need to find some stick em for butterfingers Cook.

I think the personal foul flags were egregious, but the PI and holding flags were pretty much spot on.

I think the ref teams are incompetent, rendered prone to further incompetency by instructions to call anything that looks like it might have a) hurt a star player, b) hit a QB or WR especially roughly, or c) both.

But generally, most ref teams are too stupid to be malicious. Then again, that's what I thought about NBA refs, and voila! Joey Crawford proved me wrong.

A fair number of legit ones, and a fair number of really ticky-tacky ones. The teams were pushing and shoving in the middle of the field 30 minutes before game time and were jawing after practically every singly play through the about halfway through the second quarter.

Personally I'd like games to be called muuuuuuuccchhhh looser than this one, but I also understand exactly why they're doing it. It seems, as of half time, both teams have calmed down a bit, so it will be interesting to see if they now let them play a little bit more.

Get a grip dude, except for the roughing on Kaep those PI calls are obvious. Rams shooting themselves in the foot. Hawks would take advantage of those calls just the same, dont start with the NFL conspiracies.

How can anyone not love Marshawn Lynch? Players are scared to death of giving teams bulletin board stuff. Why? Are teams so weak of mind they can't get it up unless someone says something negative about them? ML couldn't care less. His mindset clearly: Yeah, I said it...do something to prove me wrong". It's not trash talk when it's fact.

Definitely agreed about the personal foul flags, but I think the holding flags have been pretty marginal too.

The Kaepernick personal foul was the only really horrible call of the game, but all of us already know that it's going to get called if you launch head/shoulder first at a QB who is already sliding, and it doesn't much matter if you barely graze him or not. I hate the call obviously, but it's totally predicable.
