Carter should be ours, but the front office was too shell shocked from a former incident drafting a DE with character concerns.

Malik McDowell - the gift that keeps on giving.
Malik McDowell killed our franchise..or was it the throw to Lockette...either or

The Super Bowl America wants the Super Bowl Maryland needs and the script no one will pay for
I think Baltimore gets a few calls now and again..i mean they let a murderer play on that team for years...gave him his own super bowl entrance and a ring to boot!

Forced us to trade a second rounder for a meh season of Sheldon Richardson. That pick ended up with Philly who used it on TE Dallas Goedert, who was their leading receiver today.

I'm not claiming he was, but Schneider has stated that the lessons learned from that mistake drastically changed how they evaluate prospects with character concerns. I can't say unequivocally that they would have taken Carter over Witherspoon without the McDowell incident, but given he was an immense talent at a premium position of need, it doesn't feel unreasonable to wonder if they're connected.

Just a temperature check, everyone here is aware that the Seahawks have a better pass rush get off time, better QB pressure rate, and better QB sack rate than both the Rams and the Eagles, right?

Because it feels like everyone thinks it's the opposite.

Love Murphy and especially Spoon.

But damn. Carter and Verse? Granted…we were assumed to be ‘good’ on the Edge when we took Murphy. By many boards, Murphy was the guy to get.

Does make one a bit envious.
