Question about TC

Question for all u training camp gurus, what kind of chairs are best to bring to practices? Also is the weather warm enough that we may need to take some precautions? Any cool things to do in the area for my wife and 3 year old? is lake washington a good swimming lake? Thanks

FYI, most of the viewing area at VMAC is hills. Regular camping chairs should suffice.

Not much around the area in Renton near VMAC.

Weather wise, it's not really hot - just the norm for Seattle in the summer. If it's a nice day the day you attend, the usual stuff should be fine (hat, lotion, etc).

Plenty of cool stuff to see in and around Seattle.

Yep, lake washington's good for swimming.

You might want to bring a blanket to sit on. And check the weather too. When I went last year it was very hot with not too many places for shade.

Since I don't get up there too much, I only just discovered this place, just north of the training camp complex:

Newcastle Beach park, Bellevue.

There's also bleachers that are pretty close to the action, when I went last year I found myself walking around more than sitting, might've been my ADHD though. Also your kid might have a blast! They have some cool stuff there for kids to do, and make sure you bring your wallet, you're gonna see some stuff to buy lol.
