I know it's not good juju wishing for injuries on any player and I don't normally as a rule but having those two out against the Packers is a MASSIVE win for us as I highly doubt they will beat the Packers, pushing them to 5-6. HUGE.

That IS huge. Then you got the Rams with a tough task against the Eagles. Hawks just need to take care of business. This division is wide open. They control their own destiny at that point. I'm fired up.

We go top with a win and a rams loss. Which given some teething issues in our season could be huge.

Arizona is another good test to see if the defense is on the right track

Just looked at the cards schedule and they have 9ers us twice pats panthers rams n viks , we really need to roll them both games and beat pretty much everyone else to take the division , so pretty much just like yesterday
Win out or go home
I think the viks have come down to earth and they always played wambs n whiners better than we did so im pretty sure we gonna curb stomp the lambs end of season and have a good chance against the viks but we really need both games vs az to give us the advantage cuz their last place sched is so soft they have an easy ride rest of the way other than US

That sucks that theyre injured, but its a nice break for us considering we shot ourselves in the foot a few times this year.

This season could end up breaking really well for us toward the end. Injuries always play a part, but we have already had to suffer through our share of them. If our guys continue to gel, the coaches keep refining their approach, and we manage to stay reasonably healthy, we could be a tough out for anyone come the post season... including Detroit.

Was Purdy injured in last week's Seahawks' game, or is this a lingering injury? @94Smith, maybe you know?

Niners getting mollywhomped atm.

Man…I feel for them a bit. This is a hard fall from grace.

No team could deal with those injuries..

Shanahan does this a lot when his team is getting bent over. Conveniently using mild injuries as a scapegoat. Their offense is old hat. Defense has literally 2 good players in Bosa and Warner. Using Pete’s 1983 era defense in this day and age only works when you have a competent secondary and the 49ers have an awful secondary. It’s almost like they traded 3 first round picks for a bust and are now reaping the consequences of poor draft moves.

It was interesting to see that Trent Williams' absence from the O-line really disrupted the 49ers running game yesterday. CMC had 11 rushes for 31 yards, and Jordan Mason 3 rushes for 8 yards. I had assumed that Shanahan could make his running game work even without Williams. I think the 49ers could have survived Purdy's absence if the run game was still operational.

With Williams, even Isaac Guerendo had a 100-yard rushing game this year. Just goes to show you, it's all about the big guys up front.

Temporary set backs. Like the eagles last year. The team needs a bit of a reset, some key guys to come back and another good draft, but playoffs not likely. I think Purdy is good enough to help carry the team forward.
