I really hope this Giants team at 5-1 or so the last 6 is legitimately playing good ball right now and the loss isn't as bad a bed-crapping as it feels like. Considering Colt McCoy was playing it's still bad, but not a total disaster

Truthfully I never expected the loss... but I never expected the loss to come because the O didn't perform ... It's not a disaster it's a blessing... I think the Giants just exposed some areas the Hawks need to address.. better now than later...Its a hard loss to take but then truthfully the Giants are not as bad as everybody thinks... their game plan was right on... the Hawks might have taken them lightly... that Giant D is no joke and they proved that today...

Agreed. Even some of the packer fans on their chat mentioned that the Gnats Defense is legit. They were shocked we lost too. But things happen.

A friend of mine who I text with during games mentioned at the end of the Eagles game he feared the team getting into some bad happens with the "easy 3 game stretch upcoming" Well the bright side is no fear of that happening!

The whole right side of the line is out... they just have to solidify that... they have to find a way to protect Wilson he was running for his life... the best way to do that is to Run the ball... people are so down on Carroll for not making adjustments... Both Carson and Hyde are on snap counts... Schotty didn't call a very good game either well... it could have been on Russ to because he has lots of options...

I'm still not worried about it... I think they will shore it up... I don't think the problems are unfixable... I just think they need to get back to smash mouth football...

Firing Carroll would be a disaster.

He will never be more than a wildcard playoff team while here. I get that chafes some.

And he is an outright liability on gameday.

But he is also one of the few coaches that can make such an imbalanced roster even this competitive. He is also an extraordinary talent developer.

You cannot say other coaches would win more with this much talent, because the other coaches would never have had this much talent to win with in the first place. A lot of this raw talent turned into productive players has Carroll's stamp on it. Chris Carson is a good example.

Wilson is a great QB. Maybe a great offensive mind could use him better and take us farther.

But the chance of getting one of those coaches is slim. Even with the ability to dangle Wilson.

Plenty of 'sure thing' coaches turn into anything but. Carroll is a sure thing. You know you are making the playoffs. You just are not winning more than the wildcard game.

It could be much worse.
