Yep I'm spelling his name wrong on purpose. He had one good game 3 years ago and looked like an all pro vs 5th string cfl scrubs in pre season. Now that hes actually playing against actual nfl players I dont see the upside at all. That fumble almost cost the game. I know many here think hes gonna be in the ring of honor but I dont see the upside. If Carson goes down it would be the knife in the heart for the season. I wonder if it's time to see what Homer has.

Honestly wanted to defend the guy but his stats this year are bad and you could make an argument that he almost cost us the game today. Really wanted him to be good, whatever his strengths, I won't shed a tear if he is let go.

I just think they are running the bag off Carson and Penny is hurt and sometimes a question mark. I'd be worried if Procise was relied on in this gameplan. Time for Homer.

Interesting analysis, Cyrup. Yes, I spelled your name wrong on purpose, to find out why it is you would do that, and I remain baffled.

He had a touchdown or at least a huge play today if Russ didn't overthrow him on a route and that is where he should be used. Short yardage CJ Prosise isn't my favorite.

To me Prosise and Penny are birds of feather. After this season, unless a dramatic change, we need to move on.

He should be used to return kicks (unless maybe he has stone hands or something), or on speed agility around the edges type runs or pass plays/screens. He is quick, but completely the wrong choice for trench warfare type runs. He is being completely misused from what I can see, and granted I am looking in from the outside.

Now Prosise will get some coaching and mentoring from Carson on curing fumble-itis.
If we are without Carson, we will need Prosise. Prosise is a decent inside runner, better than Penny at this point. Neither one would be my first choice for a short yardage situation. Prosise is a very good 2-minute offense back.

Hate on Prosise if you must, but there will be times this season we will need him.
We need him now to spell Carson and limit Carson's workload to keep him fresh for a potential postseason run.

Running CJP into a massed D Line is never gonna work ... when he was given the chance to run outside two games ago, he scored a 15 yd TD ... why not some screens?

I'm ok keeping him on the roster this season, but it's time to move on. No way he sees a second contract.

I have no problems supporting CJ Prosise. He's been through a ton of injuries and now that he's finally healthy the vocal lunatic fringe wants to release him from a very favorable rookie contract. I would welcome Travis Homer earning more playing time but there's zero reason to force it. Homer has been doing some good stuff on special teams.

I dont blame Prosise for the 3rd and one. That was just another case of our Oline getting beat on short yardage. it happens too often.

This is his last year on his contract and unfortunately he has been hurt most of it. Its time to draft another back to fill his role and i dont mind spending a higher pick to get a back that might have starter capabilities. Next year is Carsons 4th year and they will have to make a decision on paying him the 14 or 15 mil he will want or going another route. Right now he has to be the most underpaid man in the league.

We still dont know if Penny can stay healthy or be the lead back. I think he can but until he does we dont know. Either way it doesnt hurt to load up now.
