Wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the increasing number of prime time games this season, which I've counted up as 7, including Christmas night. I've heard a lot of players prefer kicking off on Sunday afternoons, and personally I like those too, but getting showcased on the national stage is exciting.

The thing I dislike about primetime games is it can play hell with your practice and gameplan schedule.
My preference in order:
SNF/MNF/TNF/Saturday games/Holiday games
SNF/MNF/TNF/Saturday games/Holiday games
I remember back when I had season tix one time. It was a night game against the Packers IIRC. It snowed through the first half and stopped for the 2d half, but by then they had altered the bus schedules and I got stuck trying to get to the Tuckwila park & ride to get to my vehicle. Thankfully, I knew someone who lived in Seattle. I got hold of him to give us (me and my brother) a ride to Tukwila.
Kind of colored my opinion of prime time games.
On the large scale, not a real fan of them. Now that I don't have the ST situation, I'm a bit softer on them, but really prefer the traditional Sunday games.

When my family joins together for Christmas and thanksgiving , watching football and preferably the seahawks is a given since almost all are fans and we even sometimes unexpectedly run into each other at games cuz theres a group of us in the south sound and a group in the north sound so it's a real football party atmosphere and I love the heck out of it but i wouldn't if my family didn't like football , the get togethers would be shorter and less playful and etc.

What I like about primetime games is that the Seattle Seahawks have the best winning percentage of any NFL team in primetime games. They have won approximately 71% of the time.

For me, prime time games are good and bad. They are great for watching at home as they mean guaranteed Seahawks football on tv, but for attending, Sunday afternoon works better as I can fly in and out the same day which is slot easier to work in.
Those were primetime games I listed in order of preference.

Is it a case of killing the goose that laid the golden egg?
I can remember my dad claiming that over exposure killed boxing, that having it on 5 nights a week made it feel routine, that it took away the "game of the week" excitement that everybody talked about the next morning. I don't particularly agree with that theory and feel that there were other problems with boxing that contributed to its demise, like the advent of closed-circuit TV for title matches. But it is an interesting thought.
I personally don't have a problem with it and like having games on in Prime Time. But I wonder if there is a limit on what the public will accept, if our stomachs will eventually get full.
