Not me - no Super Bowl in my future. I thought the nosebleeds were around $900 face value, but apparently I was wrong. I could have justified $900 or so, because it would have been a small part of a larger thing, but things have gotten crazy.

I went to New York alone, my son was 4 years old, wife stayed home with him. Now he is 15 almost, he will soon leave in a few years to college. I will do my best to send them both in the stadium while I hang out in a bar outside. I don’t have tickets, didn’t win lottery after 17 years. Prices are unaffordable but chances of another Superbowl maybe 10 years from now or earlier. I could make the money in 10 years but I wouldn’t know where or what my son will be doing. Some memories are expensive and I wouldn’t be looking if he never was interested. I have taken him to almost every game from he was 2 months old. I can’t give up on this opportunity. If nothing, I hope he will remember his dad sponsored him to the biggest game of his life!
Your logic is great. It doesn't work in my case because one SB ticket is more than the value of either of my automobiles. So my logic is also great

I agree. I want to go, and might be willing to pay $3k per ticket, but $6500 each is robbery!I live 17 miles from Levi's stadium, thought this would be a chance of a lifetime for my son and I to go...cheapest per ticket I can find $6,500 and that's in the nose bleed sections. I love my son, I love my Seahawks, but man....what a price to pay. Anyone want to buy a kidney? Just kidding!I'll put the money to use instead and buy a case of beer to yell at the tv come February.

Agreed...I was hoping to get both my son and i in for around $3k...over $6k....I'd rather buy some Super Bowl memorabillia for memories sake

I went to 49 and I personally would not pay a lot of money to do that again. I'm glad I had the experience (despite the outcome) but being in a different stadium for a neutral site game is just an odd vibe. Every play somebody is cheering but a lot of people are just there to be there. Being at my home stadium in my own seat to watch the NFCCG is way more fun.
