What did you all take away from our 1's vs. their 1's from that game and what do you expect the key match ups/adjustments to be going into the Super Bowl?

I was at that game and called it then that these 2 team would play in the super bowl. What i got out of it was we were way better...but its pre season,,,a lot has changed and the games mean nothing...I left when Brady Quinn came in. Think Browner had a 100 yd fumble return and Kearse took a kick return to the house...it was crazy loud too!! Manning was still finding his guys deep down the center and looked good. Wagner absolutely smoked him one play though which made the trip down worth it just for that!!

I remember they drove down the field fairly easily, then we forced that fumble returned by browner.

Manning went to Julius Thomas a lot. We will take him away.

Manning moved through our base defense pretty well. Probably as well as any QB I've seen do it. Up there with how Brady was slicing us up early in that 2012 game. But in the end, I thought Seattle looked like a far better team, and it showed in the final score. People will say that turnovers and special teams skewed the score of that game, but, well...that's what we do every game. Manning WILL turn the ball over and special teams WILL be a factor.

There's nothing to take away from this game whatsoever. Throw it away.

He played a long time. He moved the ball well, but couldn't score. I mostly meant he did a pretty decent job of going up and down the field. But again, that was against a vanilla defense, so it's hard to extrapolate too much from that.

ignore it all, it was preseason, most things have changed a lot since then and teams don't show squat.
