Finally! Some NFL football!

A couple of times when I went to visit my mom, I ended up there in August. We were jonesing so hard for football that we tried to watch a CFL game, and we were actually looking forward to preseason NFL football. We even prepared for the Hall of Fame Game with special snacks and stuff. What we had forgotten is that preseason games are not fun to watch. They're not even interesting unless you're interested in specific players or position battles. We didn't even make it through the first half of the Hall of Fame Game before giving up. I'm not even sure we made it through the first quarter. I just remember telling myself not to forget ever again that I shouldn't expect a preseason game to be worth watching.

I ended up turning on all the Seahawks' preseason games that year, but I wasn't watching the games like I would watch a real game. Instead, I did some work with the TV on, looking at the screen when it sounded like something interesting was happening.

We're still five weeks away from NFL football and 38 days from Seahawks football.
