No this isn't loser talk, it's just a curious question. I think 99.9% of us expect a second Lombardi on Sunday, but crazy shit can happen in the world. IF the unlikely event of a loss happened, what do you think would be the most likely reason?
If they do this we will not win again stillThey score more points then us
Won’t happen; Mike has them so dialed for this game.Only way we lose is if we, the Seahawks, and everyone else has already announced us the winner before the first kick off.
When pigs sprout wings, is my pick. Or a John Madden Turkey with 11 legs runs across the field during the Anthem, with Zabel and the OL right behind. No this isn't loser talk, it's just a curious question. I think that Maye and his rushing to extend drives could be a big factor as well. The great thing about our D is that we get consistent pressure inside the pocket and also on the edges so it doesn't seem like the QB has a lot of open lanes to pick up yardage. My hope is that we are able to fluster Maye and get 1-2 fumbles or pics out of him.Said “other”.
Although Maye having the game of his life is a close relative.
My concern is Maye gashing us with his legs.
I believe we will do an excellent job of defending passes, I know we will minimize their run game.
I’m worried about our defense controlling Maye when he has nothing and decides to run.
We can’t let him extend drives with his legs when we have everything else on lockdown
YMMV
It only takes 2-3 critical first downs to ultimately change the outcome of a close game.I think that Maye and his rushing to extend drives could be a big factor as well. Maye doesn’t have Adams and Nacua. There is no other team that has receivers like that except maybe the Bengals, so I’m honestly not worried about that one.Won’t happen; Mike has them so dialed for this game.
I voted for Maye having the game of his life. That would show that McVay exposed something about our defense. That’s highly unlikely. If Sam throws multiple picks, I can see us overcoming that if the former didn’t happen.
He also doesn't have the offensive guru in McVay...the fact that the Rams have performed so great on the offensive side of the ball against our D speaks volumes about just how great of a coach McVay is...Maye doesn’t have Adams and Nacua.
