Mine:

Christine Michael. Michael was my favorite RB in the 2013 draft and I leaped out of my seat when Seattle called his name. I'm also loving what I'm hearing from the practice reports. Hawkblogger today predicted that Michael could lead the NFL in preseason rushing yards, which when I thought it over, was actually a fairly safe prediction. As a backup RB he'll get a ton of preseason reps. I can't wait to see Michael's explosiveness in a Seahawks uniform.

Stephen Williams. When Williams quietly signed a future's contract this offseason, hardly anyone noticed. John Schneider's reaction? "I got him!" This is a player JS badly wanted to get, and he fits the same kind of profile that we've seen Seattle chase after with other big WRs. Already there are a lot of reports of Williams making freak mismatch type plays in practices. I won't say he's a lock for the roster, but I think his chances of making it are better than Harper or Kearse. He wasn't successful in AZ, but does anyone have a bigger mess in the passing game than the Cardinals of the last few seasons?

Golden Tate. Even if Tate is at his ceiling, he's already one of the NFL's most efficient playmakers. But what if he's not at his ceiling? What if he continues to get even better? Been reading some rave reviews for Tate in practices so far.

Russell Wilson. Really excited to see how he looks after an offseason of preparation.

Percy Harvin. Excited might be the wrong word here, but I am hopeful that if surgery is avoided, Harvin can still look explosive. Not sure if we'll see him in the preseason, but it would be nice.

Bruce Irvin. I don't know if this LB experiment will work, but I do think it will play to Irvin's strengths as a pass rusher. Also, Irvin just went from a very undersized DE with freakish speed to a massive 4-3 OLB with freakish speed.

Michael Bennett. I loved the Bennett signing. Initial practice reports have been very positive. Hawkblogger opined that Bennett already looks like more of a factor than Jason Jones ever was. Granted, I expected that, but I'm still excited to see it for myself.

After a few AAR I had to bail out of jail over the last 3 years I decided to play it safe and select a blue chipper. Christine Micheal. His running style reminds me of a young Emmitt Smith.

Of Stephen Williams, Fitzgerald did say something spectacular, but that was if I remember right, after he had been let go. So you always take that shit with a grain of salt.

I always enjoy the darkhorse player on the fringe making plays in pre season.

Usually, they end up cut, or P.S.'d

The OP listed all the obvious ones, and I'd include Cliff Avril in that among the big names. Some others I'd personally include...

Winston Guy/DeShawn Shead - I'm extremely intrigued by these two as backup safeties after watching yesterday's practice. They're identical in size (6-1, 225-220) and looked like a pair of antelopes patrolling the backend of the defense with that size and range. I'm anxious to see if they can unseat the smaller Maragos and J. Johnson for jobs on the 53 man roster.

Walter Thurmond - Lotta hype here, so its time to see it in action to believe it.

Michael Bowie - If he pans out and reaches his ceiling he could be the steal of the 2013 draft; want to see what we have to work with here in actual game action.

Luke Willson - I feel like he could be a poor man's Tyler Eifert, so again, excited to see how he looks against real competition.

Phil Bates - Really liked what I've seen thus far here, esp. physically, so I'm anxious to see how he's improved as a WR and if he has the special teams chops to earn a spot on the 53.

Spencer Ware - I thought this was an inspired pick in the draft as a FB convert/project, so I'm looking forward to seeing if he can begin to show that he can effectively make the long-term switch from RB.

Carson Wiggs - Want to see that cannon leg first-hand, and if he's got the accuracy to win the job.

Jordan Hill. Can't wait to see what my adopted rookie will do. I predict big things for him.

James Carpenter - Is that left side finally going to step up and be the reincarnation of Jones/Hutch?

You guys already nailed most of mine.

I guess the unproven guys I'm pulling for the most based on upside are...

Christine Michael
Luke Willson
Stephen Williams
James Carpenter
JR Sweezy
Michael Bowie
Jessie Williams
Carson Wiggs
...and I guess you can consider Bruce Irvin as unproven especially at OLB.

Toss up between Jaye Howard and Jordan Hill for that much needed interior pass rusher.

Most of mine have already been mentioned, but one guy that hasn't been yet: John Lotulelei. I just have a feeling that he's not only going to make the team but that he's going to be a regular contributor.

From what I'm reading, it sounds like it will be very tough to make this roster as a CB. I just can't see them cutting Simon though, he has way too much potential and has maybe a 1% chance of being practice squad safe. My guess? He gets IR'd for herpes or some kind of made up illness. Citing a minor injury and sending him to the regular season PUP might be an option, too.

Aside from Harvin, Carpenter, Avril, Irvin and Bennett and Hill, I am excited to see who wins the battle for #2 RB (AKA our future #1 RB). Turbin and Michael are about to go to war and I want to see who holds onto the rock better as they try to wow the staff fighting for extra yds and big plays. I suppose "war" holds true for nearly every player, at nearly every position, but IMO, none more important than a ball and clock controlling RB.

After typing this...I again realize we have nothing to worry about at the RB spot (!). Damn, it's good to be a Hawk fan. Init?

Simon is a lock for IR this year. Even healthy he was unlikely to crack the top 5/6 at CB this season, so its actually a good thing that they'll be able to redshirt him via a stashing on IR which they can attribute to his foot. Simon is a longer-term prospect who needs a good deal of developmental work. 2015 is a more realistic timeframe for when he'd be expected to crack the CB rotation.
