I don't get it. So many long developing routes then they finally hit Jan on a quick screen at 3rd and 14 when it's too late. No awareness
When you deliberately put players in a bad position to execute it makes things toughPlay calling or play execution?
Like teams do to us.Not sure how they watched game film in preparation and are calling the game like this. Quick pases for short gains should be the plan. Not home run chunk plays against this D.
Exactly. 3rd and medium and we drop Geno and throw it 35 yards. Not sure how they watched game film in preparation and are calling the game like this. Quick pases for short gains should be the plan. Not home run chunk plays against this D.
Well I guess if Geno is passing on every short quick route then we can blame it on execution.Play calling or play execution?
Bingo. You'd think it would be obvious.Like teams do to us.
This makes the case for short, quick simple blitz beater type of play calling. They should know Geno's level of processing and his potential for confusion.Just confusing Geno more then anything. They show blitz and drop out sometime and send it others.
Sounds good but then they drop those blitzer into your pass lanes and Geno ends up holding the ball because the quick hitter isn't there. This makes the case for short, quick simple blitz beater type of play calling. They should know Geno's level of processing and his potential for confusion.
