Not sure, but I'd guess it's Pete's press conference for today. It's usually at 3pm during the season. I have no idea what the press conference scheduling will be like this week, but will try to catch them live.

Is Pete's Conference.

Called yesterday's game an event and said few people have been involved in anything like that.

Highlighting the high points of the game for us. Not surprisingly they are mostly all late game stats.

Said to him nothing really felt right until the moment that Kearse caught that ball.

Did he have the feeling Wilson could be the comeback player he is....said that goes back to John. Said John saw the comeback ability in him from back in his college days. Said Wilson has a great belief in himself that he instills in those around him.

On the 4 INT's...Said on two passes that were underthrows the ball didn't travel in the wind as well as they'd hoped. Said there was some great play by their free safety and that he had a great game.

No injury updates on Thomas or Sherman. Waiting on MRI

Defense had a great game. Especially the stop on the goal line.

on gratification that the message gets through to the players. Said it's something they've felt good about for some time now. Said the challenge now is just to keep that message alive. Said prior to OT they were talking about that on the sideline. Said it's great to see them embrace it.

On young guys making big plays, he gave more props to John for finding these guys and keeping our roster strong.

on calling the fake field goal. Said they have no boundaries on assistant coaches and that we are willing to do about anything if we think it will work.

Spoke on everything Lynch does and did for the team. Talking about how hard he plays, and his yards after contact being so high.

On the schedule pre-super bowl....said they are doing things exactly the same as last year. Liked the way it turned out last time

Said that having the experience of last year makes it easier for them this year.

To accomplish this week...said this is a heightened time. Said they'll go after it. Game planning Wed. Thurs. & Friday. Said it's the Bill Walsh way. Then they will polish it next week.

Richard and Earl what it would be like without them....said he's not going there. Gave them props for the effort they put out. Said both were in dire straights but didn't flinch for a second and played their hearts out with courage and toughness. Said it was so impressive. Earl with the brace and Sherm couldn't straighten his arm out.

On Rodgers not throwing to injured Sherman...said that's on them.

On Patriots Tackle Eligible play....called it great ball. Said they are figuring out a way to get an advantage. Said he thinks they took it from the college game. Called it good coaching.

Extra week to prepare is always beneficial.

on last game vs patriots. What do you remember? It was raining really hard. Tom Brady and "somebody" were yelling back and forth. Felt like a championship game with two great teams.

Said Wilson after the interception hit....he got hit pretty good and didn't bat an eye. Compared his toughness to Richard and Earl.

Looking back on his time with the Patriots...said it was a challenge. Great sports town with a great following. That was in the old facility. Not as nice as now. Said it was exciting because of the history. It didn't work out. Had to move on. Said he was starting to sound like Bill.

Loves watching these guys grow up. Said there's a lot going on with these guys, including working in the communities both here and back home.

Again nothing to report on Sherman and Earl.

On the decision to make the onside kick....said it was about the time left in the game. Said we talked it all the way through and felt good about going for it. Said they could have kicked it but felt good about going for it. Said the only difference is field position if you don't get it. Either way you still have to stop them, but you get a shot at the ball with the onside kick.

Should Lynch have sat on the 1 yard line? He said no. The player should always have the mentality to go score. Said it's a thought that he had when Lynch broke the line of scrimmage, but doesn't want his players to think like that.

on 3rd and 6th round picks at qb in the Super Bowl...said it's interesting. Tom's history is widely known at what an extraordinary pick he's become. Said it's something for the media to talk about. Called both qbs great winners. Said Tom has had time to prove that. Wilson still young.

On Kam...said he's recognized his chance to be a leader. Said Lawyer taught him a lot. After his first year they called on him to take over a leadership role. He told them he hadn't done anything yet. Said he's gone on to earn that role.

After previous Patriots game and Earl saying that was the game people recognized Wilson was the real deal. Said he doesn't know if that was a significant game. Said he thought the Chicago game was the time he and the staff recognize as the turning point.

On Quinn's head coaching possibility...said he's flexible making sure there are no real distractions while allowing his guys to have an opportunity. Said Dan is dead solid on getting the team ready to go.

On Wilson not letting the Picks get to him....Said it comes from a great belief in himself. Said his language in the 4th quarter showed he was on the right path.

Said they could have dressed Britt, but they'll see how he looks later in the week.

On Johnson. Said the same. Said they should both continue to improve.

on Quinn losing jobs due to the playoffs. Said he wished they'd change the rules so guys wouldn't lose opportunities

on Matthews.....said he has shown to be a unique factor in special teams which makes him more valuable to us.

That's it for today. May be press conferences every day this week or it may not be until Wednesday, I'll keep an eye out for them and let you know when I know.

I agree with Pete on the coaching thing. Why cant they just wait until the season is over? It seems like a distraction and punishing teams who do well to have their coordinators being interviewed all over the place before an important playoff game

I'm not sure if he would say they should make them wait...what he said was he wants to see an even playing field. Perhaps that means they want the ability to allow interviewed coaches to negotiate for the job before the other team's season is over or something like that. Either way, it helped us keep Quinn for an extra year, so I'm not complaining
