Said he's getting his MRI today. Unger is fine, hasn't seen Red yet but he's not as far as long as Unger.
Percy is due to be activated today?

Pete is saying that Browner could be out awhile, but that Daniels' injury wasn't too bad and shouldn't be too long. Added that Unger is good to go, still waiting to see on Bryant if he can pass the concussion protocols. Also excited to see Okung and Giacomini back at practice. Said we'll hear about Harvin later today

Feels that they are 'feeling like' Unger, Giacomini and Okung will practice and play this week. Will be making a decision to activate Harvin later today and may have an announcement on it on the press conference later today.

Deflected the question on why Avril was upset on the sidelines, he said something along the lines of "they were arguing about the score in the STL game." Unless that's what he was really mad about

According to league rules he has to be activated or IR'd. That is the decision to be made and will be announced later. Activating doesn't necessarily mean he'll be playing on Sunday. That will come down to how he practices this week.

I'll be keeping a close eye on this week's practice reports for sure.

Not good, but if there's one position we can afford an injury it's DB. Lane, Maxwell and Thurm III aren't a big drop off.

I am not overly concerned. We lose some physicality, but gain some coverage ability with III. I worry more about the 3rd and 4th receivers, however, as I think there is a bigger drop off from III to Amxwell and Lane.

I do love the physicality Browner brings to the position, but we've played very well without him, so I don't find this loss particularly troubling. Now of course these thins the depth at secondary, so we could see that play a part in substitutions or if another guy gets hurt, but WTIII is a very good DB and could be starting on a lot of teams in the league, so although there may be a different style in play, I don't think there will be as much of a drop off in our ability to defend the pass overall.

Shouldn't hurt us much against the likes of SF but could sting a bit vs NO.

Would be nice having LOB at full strength vs Saints. Ideally I would put Browner on Graham all game and have Thirmond at corner.

Glad it's a home game. Hopefully Clem and the pass rush beats the hell out of Brees to make up for losing out on Big Browns physicality.

Teams attack Maxwell, he is a back up player, a solid back up, but a back up none the less.

I've heard many many times that Maxwell could start on about half the teams in the NFL. He's a backup because of the LOB.

If Sherm, Kam or Earle was out I'd be freaking out.......but Browner IMO is the weakest of the LOB. Still a great corner, but I'm just fine with Maxwell filling in.

I'm with you on this right now. If I had to choose to "shoot a hostage" when it comes to the LOB, it would be Browner. That said, there are certain teams that I absolutely want him in there for his size and... well... someone come up w/ a better word that "physicality" so I don't have to use it.
