When I was a high school senior the principal would point at each class section during assemblies and we were all supposed to yell “SENIORS” Or “JUNIORS”, so the principal would always start with the freshman and work up to the seniors and everyone would scream “FRESHMAN” “SOPHOMORES” “JUNIORS “ but when he got to us…..

Agree. Pete deserves a warm welcome of gratitude and appreciation. I'm meh on Geno. I don't dislike him, but he's not anywhere near a Hawk legend or beloved franchise figure to me.

Geno home coming is the Jets

Pete often said that without Wilson, he would have been fired long ago. With our #1 defense, arguably any competent QB could steer the team deep into the playoffs. When Pete lost his marbles in defense, Wilson's best was ... Not winning playoff games

Geno might have kept Pete employed post-Wilson. Pete's defense was still poor, and the OL was bad for one and a half seasons. Geno saved Pete azz

Both Pete and Geno are history, a bad historical period of our team. We are now in a better place, we are better because lovely Jody agreed with Schneider that Geno, DK, and Lockett were the dead weight and the root cause of poor OL Development. Make no mistake, our defense is top 3-5 in the league, our offense, free of dead weight, top 8-12.

Pete deserves a huge ovation! Geno deserves a good round of applause as he really outperformed what we thought he was going to be and looks like he tried his best.

Both should get a standing ovation. Geno destroyed Russ's career in one game. That is worthy of a heralded response from the fans. Pete woulda had a statue if not for 49. ...

Geno was never and never will be even in the same stratosphere as Russ was. F Geno. Sincerely. He can take his "disrespect" and shove it.

Glad Russ is gone, glad gePICK is gone and it was time for Pete to be gone. Pete deserves a HUGE cheer from the fans, and he'll get it.
Geno hasn't earned anything. He put up good numbers between the 20's and played in ONE playoff game. He sucked a** against elite teams. Dude was a turnover machine last year. The only thing Geno deserves is an Earl Salute.

Seeing Pete I'll probably start to tear up a bit. Geno I'll probably just say thank you and move on. All this will be while alone in the comfort of my own home so who knows what I'll really say or do.

No doubt. While I was ready to move on from Pete, he's an absolute Seattle sports legend. And a hell of a good guy. Period.
