If he is ready, I want him on the field whenever that game is. Let's light this rocket and set the offense on fire.

Timing is really handy for the Hawks too. Is it not interesting how much impact Tate is having on games these days? He is playing so very similar to Harvin's style. Having two guys like that should bring some interesting matchups to the other players.

I don't think they're similar at all beyond the surface.Tate is an outside guy far more similar to what Rice beings plus other things then what Percy does. Percy is what Welker dreams of being.

I think he plays, probably about 10-15 snaps. He maybe handles the ball 2-5 times and the rest of the time more of a distraction and runs some routes. Unless of course he is wide open a lot as one of RW's reads then all bets are off.

I think he plays and turn those that have hated the trade since day one into believers.

Harvin HAS to be activated by league rule. Whether he plays or not this week will depend solely on whether he can get in enough practice time with the starters this week. All the talent in the world won't help a guy get timing and trust with a qb he's never played with before.

Honestly, if he is activated, I can see him getting some time, but I wouldn't count on him being an impact player or getting nearly the touches many would expect from a player of his abilities. It's more likely he'd get worked into the play calling with a few plays to start then add some every week

Well, what Shefter said makes sense though. It's not just about the timing (although that's a big part of it) and chemistry with the other WR and Wilson, but Harvin goes all out on every play. They need to see that his hip can handle that.

It's really smart to get him some limited reps in the Minny game. They can look at his hip and see how it reacts to game speed cuts and hits, then give him 2 weeks to heal up from it. He'll get all the chemistry and timing he needs with the extra practice time leading up to NO.

Maybe use him as a decoy. That way he gets a good feel for the game, shakes off the rust etc. without too much contact from a viking trying to make a point.

I see him being more at full strength for the Saints game. The O-line starters back. That game is lining up to be pretty special, it's going to feel like the playoffs at the CLink! I can hardly wait!!!

Well, I think Harvin gets a limited amount of snaps. He will still be on my bench in fantasy. I will let him loose for the NO game. Just like I think the Hawks will do. :)

Lets see him get through a week of practice first. Last time he said he was back he practiced one time then hasn't returned.

It does make sense, and I'm sure he said it because it makes sense. I doubt that he has any special information though that Harvin is playing this week. If Harvin can go, it would make sense to get him at least some limited reps and see how he handles it, but first he has to prove he can handle practice reps. He has yet to practice a full week since he's been back.

Personally, I for one, think he'll be active on game day and will see some playing time, but I'm not going to "hold my breath" either. I'd like to see what the pracice/inury report looks like this week. If he can get FP this week then we'll have a pretty darn good idea of what to expect on Sunday.

the ferrari is reving up ready to get out!!!

most likely 8-15 plays depending on the score then have kearse switch in...as we want him ready for the saints game. The way our team is playing it'll be hard to hold him back. I'm so giddy to see what he can do.
